To preserve the beauty and intricate hand-embroidery of your scarf, we recommend the following care:
Hand Wash Only: Gently hand wash in cold or lukewarm water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent or silk/wool soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Do Not Soak: To prevent color bleeding (especially with deep reds or greens), avoid leaving the scarf submerged in water for more than a few minutes.
Handle with Care: Do not wring, scrub, or twist the fabric. Instead, gently press the water out by laying the scarf flat between two clean towels and rolling them up.
Air Dry: Lay the scarf flat on a drying rack away from direct sunlight, which can fade the embroidery threads over time.
Ironing: If needed, iron on the reverse side (the back of the embroidery) using a low-to-medium heat setting. Placing a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the scarf is recommended to protect the stitches.
Storage: Store your scarf in a cool, dry place. We recommend folding it neatly rather than hanging it to maintain its shape.
