To preserve the beauty and intricate hand-embroidery of your piece, we recommend the following care:

• Hand Wash Only: Gently hand wash in cold or lukewarm water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.

• Do Not Soak: Avoid leaving the shawl submerged in water for more than a few minutes to prevent thread bleed.

• Handle with Care: Do not wring, scrub, or twist the fabric. Gently press excess water out by laying the shawl flat between two clean towels and pressing down.

• Air Dry: Lay flat on a drying rack away from direct sunlight to protect the thread colours over time.

• Ironing: Iron on the reverse side using a low-to-medium heat setting. Placing a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the scarf is recommended to protect the stitches.

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We recommend folding neatly rather than hanging to maintain its shape.
